COASTAL CHRISTIAN HS: 40
The JV Knights headed to Coastal Christian High School for their first game of the season. The Knights came out running with a couple of early baskets from sophomore Jordan Griffin, Cason Puczylowski, and Trey Williams the Knights took a commanding lead; at the end of the 1st quarter the score was 17-3. Coastal began to make a run in the second quarter but the Knights held them off and took a 9 point lead into halftime. The 2nd half was much of the same; with great pressure defense, free throw shooting, and outstanding guard play the Knights were able to secure the win against a tough team. The JV Knights won in a convincing season opener with a final score of 53-40.
Jordan Griffith led all scorers with 15 points.
